According to the Hammers have made significant progress in securing the Moroccan international as they have reached an agreement with the Bundesliga giants on a transfer fee of €15.5 million (£13m/$17m) with an additional €4 million (£3m/$4m) in potential add-ons. Moreover, there is also a "verbal agreement in principle" with Mazraoui which means that personal terms should not be a problem once Bayern give the green light.

United have also shown interest in the 26-year-old defender, but West Ham currently lead the race for his signature. If the Red Devils want to go ahead with an offer for Mazraoui, they would first need to offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka, as reported by The 26-year-old right-back has already declined a move to West Ham, preferring a transfer to Inter Milan, either this summer or as a free agent when his contract expires in June 2025.
