The Barcelona youngster has quashed all the rumours surrounding his potential summer departure from Barcelona, committing his future to the Blaugrana. Lopez has garnered interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs following his impactful displays during the latter half of the season.

Last month, reports from Italy claimed that Champions League runners-up Inter were planning to make a sensational summer swoop for the midfielder as they eye a successor to Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Catalans have apparently placed a €60 million (£50m/$68m) price tag on the player, with Premier League giants United also linked, having made an offer during the winter transfer window.

Speaking to , Lopez dispelled all rumours surrounding his future and pledged his loyalty to Barcelona, affirming that he has no interest in a departure. "I don't plan on leaving. I'm very happy at Barca. It was my dream and I want to stay there."

Lopez seemed to have won the favour of head coach Hansi Flick during the closing stages of the season. His dynamism in midfield and a noteworthy output of eight goals and 10 assists could see him break into the starting line-up next season.
