We’re set to receive our second dose of Premier League action this week, with another round of tantalising fixtures due at the weekend.
There are plenty of intriguing clashes on offer but the headline act remains the opening game on Saturday, which pits Premier League pace-setters Chelsea against third-place Arsenal.

In recent years, this fixture has been pretty much a foregone conclusion – a comfortable Chelsea win, especially when Jose Mourinho was manning the Stamford Bridge dugout.
There’s a significant gap between the two sides in the table this season, nine points, but in terms of actual quality, there really isn’t much to choose between Arsenal and Chelsea these days.
With that in mind, we asked Blues fans earlier this week which Arsenal stars they’d like to see make the switch from west to north London.
Well, the results of our poll are now in and FootballFanCast can exclusively reveal the top three Gunners stars Chelsea fans would sign. Surprisingly, club-record signing Mesut Ozil didn’t make the cut…
3. Laurent Koscielny
No Premier League side has conceded fewer goals than Chelsea this season but with David Luiz nearing his 30th birthday, Gary Cahill already 31 and John Terry likely hanging up his boots at the end of the season, another option in their three-man defence certainly wouldn’t go amiss.
It appears Blues supporters are thinking the same thing, with Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny ranking third in our poll. No doubt, the Frenchman is one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League and furthermore, his mixture of pace, anticipation and composure on the ball would suit Chelsea’s back three perfectly.

2. Hector Bellerin
Another area of long-term concern for Chelsea fans is the right wing-back role. Victor Moses certainly hasn’t let anybody down this season with his lung-bursting contributions and sturdiness on the flank, but he’s not a defender by trade and is probably below the level of quality you’d expect of a title-winning side.
Hector Bellerin would be the perfect upgrade; as a winger converted into a right-back, he boasts all the defensive and attacking qualities wing-backs need. Likewise, his blistering pace would add another dynamic to Chelsea’s efforts going forward.

1. Alexis Sanchez
No surprises here. Alexis Sanchez has made a pretty strong case for PFA Player of the Year this term, ranking joint-top in the Premier League for goals, 15, and second for assists, eight.
But more than simply his output, it’s the infectious energy the Chile international offers in attack that makes him such an invaluable asset, always pressing when not on the ball and always driving hard and direct when on it.
He’d be perfect for Chelsea’s wide forward slots either side of Diego Costa and the idea of him operating in attacking tandem with Eden Hazard is a mouth-watering one to say the very least.
