While Clarke must have been buzzing when he found the net late on his excitement didn’t quite carry over to his social media post.

He stated that he was delighted with the goal and the win, but the post probably doesn’t quite do justice to the emotions he must have been feeling when that ball rippled the net.
Potentially it’s because we’re becoming too accustomed to footballers posting in all caps and sending a dozen emojis after every goal, but it has to be said that Clarke’s post does seem a little underwhelming – maybe it’s a sign he’s so cool under the pressure the goal wasn’t even a big deal to him.
