Named Player of the Match, the USMNT captain played 90 minutes on his first start for the Premier League side, putting on a clinic in his box-to-box role. His heatmap posted by the club went viral on social media postgame, highlighting his heroic showing.

Adams put on a brilliant showing in the center of the pitch, but the numbers he put up really tell the story. The American had 69 touches, completed 39/45 passes (85%), notched one key pass, completed four long balls, won 7/8 ground duels, won two fouls and had four interceptions and tackles as well.

This was only his third appearance for Bournemouth since arriving via transfer in the summer of 2023. After suffering a plethora of injuries, the USMNT captain finally returned to action in March.
