The defeat against Besiktas left their legendary manager Mourinho fuming as he sarcastically slammed the match officials and alleged that his side were on the wrong end of some questionable decisions made by the referee. The former Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea boss had earlier raised questions on the standard of refereeing during the club's Turkish Super Lig game against Trabzonspor last month.
WHAT JOSE MOURINHO SAID
Speaking to reporters at his post-match press conference, the Portuguese coach said: "We deserved at least a draw. The match was under our control, but we couldn't finish it. I congratulate the referee and Besiktas. The worst team won. Although we weren't perfect, I think we were better, but they took advantage of their only chance. We will continue to fight for the championship."

Mourinho's side will be back in action next week in Europe as they face Athletic Club in a Europa League clash on Wednesday at home.
