The Soccer Tournament (TST) announced that their 2025 field is expanding once again, with the women's competition moving from eight to 16 teams ahead of the third-annual edition of the 7v7 World Championships.
RBC Wealth Management will return as the primary sponsor of the competition, with a $1M prize on the line in both the men's and women's fields, with a grand total of $2M being awarded to each respective champion.
TST's women's competition debuted last summer, and with the field doubling in size in 2025, it's expected that nearly 200 additional athletes will compete for the prize this year.

“Even as the popularity of women’s sports is at an all-time high, women athletes still do not have access to the same opportunities as their male counterparts,” said Shareen Luze, head of Business Administration for RBC Wealth Management—U.S. “As a former college athlete, I’m so proud that RBC Wealth Management is supporting TST in expanding the women’s event and providing equal pay to the winning men’s and women’s teams.”
RBC's logo is set to be featured on multiple kits in this year's tournament, on all seven competition field, and on broadcasts of the matches.
“Our relationship with RBC Wealth Management has enabled us to double the size of the women’s bracket from 8 to 16 teams,” said TST CEO Jon Mugar. “Thanks to RBC Wealth Management, there will now be over 450 women in pursuit of the million-dollar purse. We can’t wait to see the competition unfold.”

In 2024, the inaugural women's field was won by the , who were led by USWNT legend Heather O'Reilly. In addition to O'Reilly, FIFA World Cup champions Ali Krieger, Allie Long, and Jessica McDonald also competed.
The Soccer TournamentWHAT NEXT FOR TST?
TST 2025 returns at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC this June. Men's group play begins June 4-5, and women's group play June 5-6. The Men’s knockout Round of 32 and Round of 16 matches will both take place on June 6, while quarterfinal and semifinal matches for both events will be played June 7-8.
Both the men's and women's tournaments will conclude on June 9, with a $1M prize in each respective bracket being awarded to the competition champions.
Select returning teams will be announced on Jan. 29.
