Following Omar Marmoush's departure to Manchester City, Ekitike has been the man to step up for Frankfurt in the second half of the season as the German side push for a Champions League finish in the Bundesliga and a good run in the Europa League. As a result, several European giants have been taking notice of the young Frenchman's talents. However, according to reports, Frankfurt will demand up to €100million (£86.3m/$113.6m) to part with their star forward this summer.

Rumours of a move to Arsenal sparked after Ekitike opened the scoring against Tottenham in the Europa League quarter-final first leg in north London. The 22-year-old replicated Thierry Henry's famous knee slide celebration against the club.
